How it had all happened, she wasn’t sure. She hadn’t asked for the power that the explosion had given her, nor did she want it. It had all been an accident. The lab explosion had given her abilities that she had only seen in comic books. With her powers, she could terraform an entire planet in a week. She could heal anything. She could see everything in the universe on a subatomic level and manipulate it to her design. Power like that was maddening… and what was worse, the explosion had killed her colleagues. What appeared to be a simple miscalculation had turned deadly for them and powerful for her.
After she fled the scene and escaped custody, a bounty was put on her head by the corporation who had funded the experiments. They wanted to make more of her and keep her a secret. She had noticed that people who were beggars were usually ignored, so it was working in her favor.

it only goes for so long until spike’s ready to continue elsewhere himself. when he decides to grab a drink it is when he catches a glimpse of the beggar outside the bar. he stops in front of them, back to the sun that’s setting behind the cityscape.
