^{it’s night.    this is the late-night train that’s near-empty.    people are gone,  asleep,   partying,   elsewhere.     he’s stuck here,  left pondering on his own thoughts or nothing at all    -    as if anyone can tell ;    he is a man too wrapped up in himself.    but it comes to a halt just as their train car had,    “  the hell – ?  “   he looks at the window,  towards the supposed front and he realizes they’re delayed.}
